How to Access DistracTV

Note:

This application requires a subscription to Bell MTS High Speed Internet.

  1. Tune to channel 76 and press OK to start.

    Tips:

    • To return to the DistracTV Main Menu select the double arrow << icon or back button with your remote control.
    • To exit a screen anytime, using the left or right arrow buttons on your remote control select the X icon on the screen and press OK.
    • To return to Live TV press the EXIT button twice on your remote control.

  2. Once DistracTV has started, you can navigate around the game using the up and down arrows on your remote control.

  3. Press OK any time to continue.

Create New User
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to CREATE NEW USER.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Ensure the YES button is highlighted to accept the terms of use and press OK.
  4. Use arrow buttons to select the avatar you wish to use and press OK.
  5. "Are you sure you want to use this avatar?" prompt appears, ensure the YES button is highlighted and press OK.
  6. Use arrow buttons to navigate to the letters you would like to use to create your handle, once complete press OK.

    Note:

    Your handle must be at least three characters.

  7. Press OK.
Change Your Skin
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to MY SETTINGS.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use arrow buttons to navigate to CHANGE YOUR SKIN and press OK.
  4. Use left and right arrow buttons to scroll through and select your new skin.
  5. Press OK to select.
  6. "Are you sure you want to make this your default skin?" prompt appears, ensure the YES button is highlighted and press OK.
  7. "Your skin has been changed successfully" message will appear.
Change Your Avatar
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to MY SETTINGS.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use arrow buttons to navigate to CHANGE YOUR AVATAR and press OK.
  4. Use arrow buttons to scroll through the avatars, press OK to select.
  5. "Are you sure you want to use this avatar?" prompt appears, ensure the YES button is highlighted and press OK.
  6. "Your avatar has been changed successfully" message will appear.
Change Your Handle
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow keys to navigate to MY SETTINGS.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use arrow buttons to navigate to CHANGE YOUR HANDLE and press OK.
  4. Use arrow buttons to navigate to the letters you would like to use in your handle.

    Note:

    Your handle must be at least three characters.

  5. Press OK.
  6. "Are you sure you want to change your handle?" prompt appears, ensure the YES button is highlighted and press OK.
  7. "Your handle has been changed successfully" message will appear.
Switch User
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to SWITCH USER.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use arrow buttons to navigate to the correct user.
  4. Press OK.
  5. You will see your avatar and "Have fun! <username>" in the lower left corner of your TV screen. This confirms what user is now playing a game.
Remove User
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to REMOVE USER.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use arrow buttons to navigate to the user you wish to remove.
  4. Press OK.
  5. "Are you sure you want to remove this profile?" prompt appears, ensure the YES button is highlighted and press OK.
  6. "This profile has been removed" message will appear.
Play as a Specific User
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to PLAY AS…
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use arrow buttons to select the user you would like to "play as".
  4. Press OK.
Most Popular/My Faves

Notes:

  • You will see MOST POPULAR when user is not selected.
  • You will see MY FAVES when user is selected.
  1. From the main menu, user arrow keys to navigate to MOST POPULAR or MY FAVES.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use up and down arrows to navigate through the games.
  4. Press OK to play the highlighted game.
    • You can also remove the game from your favourites - press the left arrow button to highlight REMOVE and press OK.

To add a game to MY FAVES:

  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to GAMES.
  2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the game you wish to add.
  3. Press OK.
  4. From the Game Details Screen use the arrow buttons to highlight the ADD TO MY FAVES button.
  5. Press OK.

Note:

You will not see the ADD TO MY FAVES button if the game has already been added to MY FAVES.

Play GAMES from Main Menu
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to GAMES.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use arrow buttons to highlight the game you would like to play.
  4. Press OK.
  5. Use arrows buttons to SELECT LEVEL: EASY, MEDIUM or HARD.
  6. Press OK to play.

Notes:

  • Use arrow buttons and select HOW TO PLAY to view game instructions. Press OK.
  • Use arrow buttons and select EXIT GAME to return to the main menu. Press OK.
  • Use arrow buttons and select EXIT TO LIVE TV to exit the entire application. Press OK.
Leaderboards
  1. From the main menu, use the arrow buttons to navigate to LEADERBOARDS.
  2. Press OK.
  3. Use up and down arrow buttons to scroll through the different games to see the top 10 scores for each highlighted game.
