Netflix to be discontinued on some HD receivers

The Netflix app will no longer be available on many HD receivers, including those from Bell MTS. The following Bell MTS receivers are impacted: VIP 1200, 1216, 2102, 2202, 2262 and 2502. If you use Netflix on your Bell MTS Fibe TV receiver(s), a message will have appeared on your TV screen over the past few weeks.

This decision on Netflix’s part does not cancel your subscription to Netflix. However, it does affect the way in which you access their app.

Impacted Bell MTS receivers

Netflix will discontinue access on the following Fibe TV receivers: VIP 1200 VIP 1216 VIP 2102 VIP 2202 VIP 2262 VIP 2502

Watch Netflix with a Bell MTS receiver

The Netflix app will still be available on the following Bell MTS receiver: 4K Whole Home PVR (VIP 5662)
