IMAP Email Setup Instructions
  1. Open the Email app.
    • If an email account already is setup on the phone, start setup wizard:
      1. Tap Mailbox Menu (Top left corner).
      2. Tap Settings.
      3. Tap Add Account to start setup.
    • If no email previously setup, device will start setup automatically.
  2. Enter your full @mymts.net email address and password.
  3. Tap Manual setup.
  4. Tap IMAP account when asked for type of account.
  5. Enter:
    • Email address: Your Bell MTS email address or alias (e.g. @mymts.net, @mts.net, @mtsmail.ca) to be displayed on your outgoing emails.
    • Username: Your @mymts.net email address (e.g. username@mymts.net).
    • Password: Your email password.
    • IMAP server: mail.mymts.net
    • Security type: SSL (Accept all certificates).
    • Port: 993
    • IMAP path prefix: Leave this field blank.
  6. Tap Next to test and save outgoing server settings.
  7. Enter:
    • SMTP server: mail.mymts.net
    • Security type: TLS (Accept all certificates).
    • Port: 587
    • Ensure Required sign-in is checked
    • Username: Your @mymts.net email address (e.g. username@mymts.net).
    • Password: Your email password.
  8. Tap Next to test and save incoming server settings.
  9. Set Account options as desired and tap Next.
  10. Enter:
    • Give this account a name (Optional): Name to describe mailbox settings.
    • Your name (Displayed on outgoing messages): Name to be displayed on your outgoing emails.
  11. Tap Done to complete setup and begin retrieving email.
How to unlock your Samsung Galaxy S6 edge for use with other carriers

Caution: Make sure to enter the unlock code correctly. Your smartphone will become permanently locked to the Bell MTS network after three incorrect attempts.

  1. Insert your non-Bell MTS SIM card.
  2. Power your smartphone on.
  3. Prompt will appear to enter unlock code.
  4. Type the Unlock Code.
  5. Select OK.

Your smartphone is unlocked.

* If no network signal is received please verify wireless connections are turned on and restart device.
